May

Smile:D Everyonce in a while I can be a goofball right? Well Sammy and I decided to sit in her car and talk for an hour. There are about 30 pictures of us acting like little kids but this one hopefully makes you smile.

May was an extremely busy month and I finally have time to write on here. Where to start?

I think I saw that my last blog was May 16th. School finished the next day and it was a wierd feeling. The seniors were only there for about 20 minutes and then they were gone. It was a small preview of what next year will be like and it was so different... change is a part of life and there is always good to it, even when it doesn't feel like it. The last day of school all the teachers were bouncing off the walls about as much as the kids. I guess we weren't the only ones excited to be done for a few months. Awards came and went and then we were free. I had a few hours off between school and work so I got to talk to Mike for a little bit over MSN messenger. Work went well. We had a huge party of 30 people from St. Ann's Catholic church in Belcourt. They were a lot of fun to wait on. There was also a group of 14 from Rugby school's FFA team. Needless to say it was a busy night. The next night (Friday) we had another huge group of 40 people for a wedding rehearsal dinner. I didn't actually work the party but I had the other 8 tables in the restaurant. Saturday night was wonderful. No big reservations, and it was steady and semi slow. I finally got to relax=) yay. I came home from work and got music ready for church the next morning. I love worship music. I love the feeling of closeness to God that it brings. I sat there getting music ready and I must have spent a good hour and a half just singing. The next morning church was interesting. After church Mike called from Iraq and we talked until I had to leave for Graduation. I cried during grad for a straight hour. I am not sure if it was because of my friends leaving or because of my other friends who constantly reminded me that in a year we would be the ones on the stage. The idea of leaving home is something that I have always looked forward to because it means adventure and new things. As I get older though I know now how much I love home and the comforts it offers.

After Graduation I went out to my friend Kacie's house for a good 6 hours and got a cold from wearing a dress in her garage that was not heated quite enough. Now it's Tuesday and I'm procrastinating donig my homework for college speech, of course. My girls and I are going to eat at the cafe in twenty minutes and we'll probably end up talking for at least an hour. There are so many blessings in my life, and the biggest are my family and wonderful friends. God is so good.

I should wrap this up and finish a little homework before I go so take care and talk to you soon.
