Hello

Caleb and I in the airport in Jacksonville
Vickie and I at the hotel pool. Yes we look nuts but that's okay =)
I'm not sure if I already posted this because I'm dead tired right now. This is the Wibe girls except we're missing the new one (Amy) she was off for her honeymoon already:P Mom, Natalie (Dave's wife) and my niece Brooke, Chris, Me, Jenn (Mike's Wife)
So my nephews didn't really know what to do with eachother since they hadn't met before. They're 2 years old and the entire weekend was spent with them checking out the other one in the manner that says, "who you lookin at?" :P
Ehm, so Jenn and Vickie always make fun of me because when we were in Sarajevo and Budapest I always took pictures of bushes with pretty flowers. Always. This is yet another flower on a bush, but hey, it's gorgeous:)

Hey everybody.

It's been a while since I wrote anything on here so I figured I should get my tush in motion. So far things have been going going going so it's been pretty hectic but a lot of fun. I have pictures of the wedding but no story on it so let me give you a few details on that first.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful. The weather was not considering it was 102 degrees and me being little norwegien girl from ND, that didn't go over so well. Anyway, the wedding started at 6:30 and we had ourselves a crisis. My brother's mother in law Vickie (my second mom) locked the key in the car so she could turn the AC on but had the remote with her so she could unlock it, no problem right? Well the batteries in the remote decided to pick that time to die so Mike, Jenn and Caleb were a tad bit late for the wedding, while Vickie stayed with the car while 10 men she didn't know attempted to get the car unlocked. Great memories for future story telling.

The wedding was during a service which was really neat but deffinately different. I think the most awesome part of it all was that 5 people were saved during the service after Bryan and Amy gave their testimonies. =) God was really at this wedding which is wonderful and awesome to see.

After the wedding we all hung out at the hotel for a while until we all gradually said goodnight and to Dave, Nat and my adorable nephew and niece, goodbye. The next morning we got lost going to the airport and my mom and dad had a 'great' time showing us around the beautiful city of Jacksonville. (Could you sense the sarcasm??)

When we finally got to the airport Mike, Jenn, Caleb and Vickie call us to say that Caleb wanted Auntie Mary. Okay so this child is about as close to angel as you get, at least to me. Having lived with them for over a month in Bosnia was an experience I will never forget and Caleb is so special to me I tear up just writing this. They came to the airport and mom and I walked (okay so I ran) back out through security to see them. I of course bawled saying goodbye to them. I don't know if I can explain what those 4 people mean to me. It's like, when I was in Sarajevo they became my family. Yes, Mike is my brother and is family but we became a whole new one, us 5. Vickie is awesome and Jenn is my sister and Caleb is my sweetie. I remember leaving them last year as one of the hardest things I've done. Vickie and I held hands and cried as our plane took off and didn't stop until we landed in Germany an hour later. Being with them at the wedding and spending the weekend together was just like home. I miss them dearly.

The plane ride home was a little tiring because there was some nasty turbulance and a toddler. The little guy in front of me was not exactly pleased that his parents had drug him along for the big airplane ride. We had my aunts and uncles waiting for us when we got back to Chris and Mike's house. They came early for the little get together we were having for Bryan and Amy that night.

The night passed and the next morning we all headed home and I drove most of the way because I was anxious to be dropped off at bible camp. That is a whole nother story on it's own so if you want details just ask. Other than coming home from camp and having another party for Bryan and Amy, the last few weeks have had just a few highlites.

1. Becca took her senior pictures! yay. Reason why I am so excited about this: I finally got to be with 'the girls' as I call them. Becca, Kacie, and Sam. It was a crazy day but deffinately fun. Unfortunately there were hours upon hours of shopping involved. Some girls I tell you...

2. The Byers are home!!! Keith came over on Wednesday night and we watched movies and hung out. Thursday, Mark and I ventured over to Tim and Beth's house and stayed all day with the two families. It was a lot of fun to see everybody. I was really blessed and can't wait to see them all again when I get home. Which brings me to number 3.

3. I am in Minneapolis helping my big sister and her husband move which is going very slowly. I feel like nothing has been packed yet which is probably not a good thing since I am leaving on Thursday night to go back to ND on the train. I've been here since Saturday and have had a great time. My nephew is precious beyond words and he's got the charming little smile pretty much down pat so he can get out of any situation he gets into which includes throwing up all over me. Yahoo.. the joys of Kallen-watching. =)

I guess I will wrap this up because I have one last email to write before I run off to bed. Bed.. hmm what a wonderful place. :P Anyway. I will put some pics on here just for fun and hope you all have a wonderful day/night depending on when you see this. God bless y'all.
