So I was looking through my speech things and I found a list of quotes. I'll put a few on now and add some later.
God's version of flowers and chocolates and candle light dinners comes in the form of sunsets and falling stars, moonlight on lakes and cricket symphonies, warm wind, swaying trees, lush gardens, and fierce devotion.
The question is not whether we will die, but how we will live.

Hmm so this is not working
Me at Scottsbluff Monument. It's in Nebraska and it is absolutely amazing. I got to go there with my awesome friend Kayla over Thanksgiving.
On November 31 my sweet nephew Kallen David Jansen Van Doorn was born=) This is at my sisters house the day he came home from the hospital.
Kent and Mike on my birthday. A bunch of my friends showed up and we had a big dinner of lots of pizza and a few fries:P
Kent went camera happy. There are about 15 pictures of me making silly faces. We were trying to find a recipe for cookies during Christmas.
Me with these cute little birds in Venezuela. We were eating at an outdoors restaurant with Jesus and Jhoan Teran's family.
Okay so this thing doesn't like me too well. I added some pictures but I must have done something wrong and it didn't publish them. Anywho. Today was another interesting day. Woke up, went to school and the craziness started. I got a hundred on my history test ( or at least I'm hoping) and the Algebra 2 test was interesting (hopefully good though) English was more speeches and then in gym I avoided doing anything because it was too nice out to work.. okay so maybe that's just my excuse. I over ate in lunch ( I blame Kacie because she brought this amazing birthday cake) and then in spanish class we went to the drive in to get ice cream ( also another crazy story so if you see me just ask) Then in art I avoided working by pretending like I was painting something when I really wasn't. Study hall passed with Kacie and I cutting out money for post prom for an entire hour. Yahooo! =) It seems like every year at this time people start to get antsy and just want to get out of school. I know I am getting that way. I've been avoiding homework even more than I used to (which is a lot) I am deffinately the queen of procrastinators. The seniors have a countdown on the wall in the school and it's down to 16. It seems so close that I can almost smell freedom. Then again, as soon as school is out I don't know what I will do without my friends. It's wierd because as I get older, my friends mean so much more to me. It seems odd that next year Kacie and Mario and the other seniors won't be here. What's even crazier is that in a year I will be the one graduating and then what? I guess it is up to God.
So this post has nothing to do with anything except me rambling but that's how I am =)
However there is something that I wanted to kind of go on my soapbox about. I guess that they discovered a new planet that is some trillion light years away. My question is, why do we spend money to study a planet we will never go to when it could be used for so many more useful things? Just a thought.. anyway. I'll post something a little more meaningful in a bit. I have to run to a meeting. Take care y'all (PS. Mike that is so a word so don't even start with me;) Aint

Up and Running
Okay so just so y'all know this is just an attempt at keeping a blog going. I think I have about 4 of these things and I haven't looked at one for over a year. However I think it's possible this blog may last. If the posts get few and far between write me an email and tell me to get back in gear. I'll keep this first one short just because I'm a little cold and plan on heading home to put on some pink fuzzy slippers to warm up. God bless you all.
